A Little about Me!

Hello! I'm thrilled you’re here! My name is Angel, and I am the owner/operator of 4CHI Pets. From a young age, my passion for animals driven me to pursue a career in this field. I studied Herpetology at Northern Kentucky University, where I developed a love for reptiles. Eventually, I discovered my heart belonged to chihuahuas, and that’s when I met Lucian, my little bundle of joy. The bond we shared was extraordinary; he was my shadow and my best friend. Tragically, I faced heartbreak when I learned he had Congestive Heart Failure and only had a few months to live. Determined to give him the best, I transitioned to home-cooked meals after realizing the dangers hidden in many pet foods. The transition to homemade food helped extend his life.  We got another year with him before he got pnuemonia after he asphixiated on something.  His heart could not take the pressure and he succumed to the pneumonia. His memory inspired me to create 4CHI Pets, a place dedicated to providing the best for our beloved pets. I may not be an expert, but I work hard to research and share valuable information so we can help our furry friends live their healthiest lives together.
